Will read English at King’s College London before training on the MA Theatre Directing course at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. His work spans commercial musicals, new writing, regional theatre and international productions.

New and recent projects include: The Looking Glass Wars, by Pippa Cleary (My Sons a Queer, The Great British Bake Off Musical) and Shaun McKenna (The Lord of the Rings Musical), Fishlake, by Jeremy Fletcher, which premiered at CAST Doncaster in October 2025, and B*ST*RDS, a musical written by himself and Alex James Ellison, which was nominated for an OFFIE for Best Production at Brighton Fringe Festival 2024.

He is currently the International Associate Director of Sister Act, having previously served as Resident Director on the UK & Ireland tour. Other Associate and Resident credits include The King and I, Curtains and Tell Me on a Sunday.

Alongside his theatre work, Will recently directed two short films, GLAVLIT and We Caught a Burglar. We Caught a Burglar, both of which have received multiple international festival selections and awards.

Will teaches and directs extensively at leading drama schools, including Guildford School of Acting, ArtsEd, Laine Theatre Arts and Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts, and is a Lecturer in Musical Theatre at the University of Winchester. He is also Creative Director of West End Stage, the world’s largest international musical theatre summer school.

Comedy is at the heart of Will’s work, grounded in truthful performances and a genuine connection to the story. His collaborative approach empowers actors and creatives to be bold, adventurous and bring their best ideas into the room.
